Hi, i'm in the process of building a low cost boat with a spare weedeater engine i have. i plan to use 2 pvc pipes and arrange them like a catamaran with a joining piece of ply on top with my receiver, servos, motor etc mounted.. The brush cutter model comes with this foam ushaped handle. if you buy the string cutter, string trimmer model it does not have the uh. handle clamp and so you'd have to uh. use some uh. other method to build your own tiller handle. the brush cutter model comes with the triarmed blade and this brush cutter guard.. Here's a scratch built boat by scott powered by a weed eater motor. i was impressed definitely. james was also out with his nitro hammer. lots of fun..
Weed eater repairs diy crafts. i am building an rc boat from scratch (48 inch) i am thinking about converting a weed eater engine to fit on the boat. weedeater engine help.. sitting on top is the blazer rc boat works . for more and better pictures. time into his boat and it shows. he plans to replace the poulan with a 25cc.. Weed eater motor in a boat i am interested in making my own boat and putting a weedeater motor in it has this been done and are there kits or helpfull hints to share, i am pretty handy and have tools to do it, also do small engine repair on the side, any thoughts of going about this.. I am thinking about converting a weed eater engine to fit on the boat. i do not however have very much experience in converting engines as i have never done it before. so before i get my hands on an engine, i want to find out how easy it is?.
